On 25th May, five F.4 students, Chan Kwun Man, Pok Shing Hang, Tse Cheuk Hang, Suen Yiu Hei and Tse Man Fai, participated in the Shaping Our Future City 2024 Engineering Competition, organized by the Institution of Civil Engineers Hong Kong Association. The theme was ‘New stories to old storeys’.
In the competition, students were required to design a redevelopment project located in Lei Cheng Uk Estate. They presented their product in masterplan, building layout, protection scheme for the tomb during the construction stage and the mock stakeholder forum. They were able to cooperate well with each other and demonstrated their teamwork.
The effort they put in won them the Most socially inclusive design and the Best-performing stakeholder group.
